Let's go out on a limb and say Midtown Atlanta has never seen so much large-scale construction at one time. The submarket's skyscraper boom of 25 and 30 years ago was impressive, but the swift changes of today's Midtown are almost all-encompassing, spanning from Spring Street to Piedmont Park and from the 700 block of Peachtree up to the failed Trump Towers site, which is teeming with heavy equipment right now. And if all goes as planned, this will be merely the beginning. We set out on a pristine fall day recently in hopes of capturing vantages that get the point across — and prove that some of these long-discussed towers are actually happening.
