The U.S. Style Census, a recent study by shopping service Dot & Bo, assigned "signature styles" to 15 major cities across the land, finding that Atlanta's home-décor aesthetic can best be described as "shabby chic." That style sounds fairly similar to our Southern brethren in Nashville ("rustic shabby chic") and even Miami ("contemporary organic"). But it contrasts our coastal cousins Boston (plain-old "contemporary"), San Francisco ("mid-century organic") and Los Angeles (WTF-worthy "urban nomad"). What say you, ATL: Does "shabby chic" sound accurate?
