As Atlanta (and indeed, the entire U.S.) grinds though the housing slump, no segment of the market has been safe, even affluent in-town enclaves like Collier Hills. Located close to both the Peachtree Road corridor in south Buckhead and I-75, Collier Hills also now boasts Buckhead's access to the Beltline and the lovely Tanyard Creek Park. Back in 2006 or 2007, a nicely renovated 3/2 like this would have been an absolute steal at $549,000, its current price. But in today's market, similarly sized and located properties are listed for much less. It's likely that the yard, large ensuite master, open kitchen and finished basement will help this one along. But the buyer's market rages on. Any guesses as to where it will actually trade?
