Living on Monroe Drive does have its perks...Piedmont Park is out your back door and both the Midtown and Virginia Highland's retail and restaurants are a mere stroll. But living on a busy street has some obvious downsides. And this sprawling 4/3 smack dab on Monroe is a little off. Though the broker babble touts it as being built by an architect, the floorplan seems pretty choppy and the room strangely proportioned. And though an in-law suite can be very desirable for some, in the case of this house, whomever lives in the in-law suite had better be either blind or just grateful for somewhere to live. 4 beds and 3 baths for $678,000 in this neck of the woods is pretty typical (maybe even a deal). But in our humble opinion, not for this house.
