Among those weighing in on TSPLOST and the potential addition of more rail to Atlanta's transit infrastructure is former Marietta mayor Bill Dunaway. He makes the salient point that no single project is going to instantly solve all of Cobb (or anywhere else's) traffic problems, and knocks down some of the same unfortunate scare-mongering that kept MARTA out of Cobb County in the 1960's. To Dunaway's point, courage and vision can be in short supply in times like these; can the metro Atlanta area muster some? [Marietta Daily Journal]
