How About a Tour of The Gallery-Like Home of Atlanta's Doyenne of Contemporary Art?

The home photographed above belongs to Fay Gold. Fay Gold is in the art business; in some ways, Fay Gold started the arts business in Atlanta. Were one to conjure an image of what the home of a contemporary art impresario would look like, we're guessing it would match pretty closely with this modern specimen on 2+ acres on Ridgewood Road in Buckhead. From the broker babble we learn that interior design was handled by Stan Topol, and that the kitchen boasts appliances with obscure brand names (which probably means they were really expensive). The house itself is quite beautiful, and though some of the gallery-like spaces seem a bit austere for day-to-day living, the master bedroom actually looks pretty damn cozy. The list price of $2.1 million seems reasonable for a 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath modernist trophy home in this neighborhood. But we're guessing the art collection is not included.
