Tax Incentives Get Another Deal Done

Doug Sams over at the the Atlanta Business Chronicle is reporting that the Development Authority of Fulton County will grant "several million dollars" in property tax breaks over 10 years to a new data center being developed in Alpharetta. Atlanta data center titans T5 Partners, LLC are building the 103,000 square foot project for a reported $75 million dollars. Atlanta is becoming a mecca for data centers given its relative lack of natural disasters (knock on wood). This is the second high-profile real estate project to receive tax incentives in the past we noted, the Atlanta Development Authority bestowed a generous break to help Novare get their Skyhouse apartment project in Midtown on the road to construction.
