One of Atlanta's finest music venues and general treasures has been sold to an Atlanta music legend, and this can only mean the spot will continue to get better with age. One can only giggle over the possibilities inherent in Alex Cooley taking control of the stage that launched the careers of everyone from Shawn Mullins to John Mayer to Sugarland. The announcement comes on the heels of news last month that Eddie's Attic founder Eddie Owen will be taking over programming of the Red Clay Theater in Duluth. Looks like 2012 will be an interesting year for live music in and around Atlanta.
