Pretty Little Cottage With Amazing Porch Brings Some Country to the City

New, 1 comment

When you look out at the City of Atlanta from a tall building, that sea of green (or the current multi-colored splendor) is lovely to behold. So lovely, in fact, that one can forget that set among those forests are entire neighborhoods just a short walk from busy streets. Such is the case with this little cottage tucked in between Roswell and Peachtree on Alberta in the heart of Buckhead. All 1152 square feet of the place are immaculate, but the catherdral ceilings and wood on the screened porch that looks out into dense forest are the star. It's hard to imagine a family living here, but as evidenced by the listing photos, clearly a little person current resides there (and we're not referring to a midget in a politically-correct way). The thought of 2 bedrooms and 1 bath for nearly $400k (list price is $390,000) does give one pause. Then again, downsizing is all the rage...perhaps it comes at a price for a tight little package like this.
