Digging Into the HOT Lane Debate

By now even those that don't travel the I-85 corridor on the north side of Atlanta are probably aware of the new, "high-speed" toll lanes that have replaced the HOV lanes in Gwinnett and Dekalb Counties. Today the AJC has an interesting piece from Jay Bookman digging into some of the data cited by supporters of the toll lanes in justifying their existence. Public criticism and light usage of the Georgia HOT lanes has left GDOT and other government officials in some tense situations with their constituents. [Jay Bookman / AJC]
