The pricey real estate along the West Paces Ferry Road corridor is well-known, with Tuxedo Park long the preferred neighborhood for Atlanta royalty. Slightly less-known but quite lovely in its pastoral spaciousness is the area just to the north and west of Tuxedo Park that we here at Curbed Atlanta like to call 'Buckhead Horse Country.' This is partially because of the Buckhead Barn stables on Broadland visible from Northside Drive, but primarily the moniker reflects that the area just looks horsey: beautiful meadows among lush foliage dotted with enormous houses. On its face, this listing on Buckingham Circle fits the bill: it's on 3.2 acres and the photos show ample, rolling lawns of green grass (and a huge pool area). The few interior images reinforce the horsey feel, including a portrait of, yes, a horse. But it strikes us as a bit odd that a $1.975 million dollar house with 6 beds and 6.5 bathrooms features only a few interior snapshots. Where is the gorgeous farm kitchen filled with shiny stainless steel appliances? Where is the media room? We're guessing the answer is that 3+ acres in this 'hood are the show here, and that the house needs some love. They should just say so.
