Why Land Use Planning Matters

The Urban Land Institute is celebrating its 75th anniversary this week, and the land use and real estate development think tank's Chairman has an interesting piece on the Atlantic Cities blog reflecting on the organization's past, present and future. We here at Curbed Atlanta are deeply influenced and involved in many of ULI's programs and publications. And their mission and work seems to only get more relevant as U.S. cities and businesses confront challenges and opportunities in matters related to real estate. Definitely worth a read.
