Apparently, Sandy Springs isn't the only metro location struggling with a coyote problem. Recent efforts to trap a pack of six coyotes near Emma Millican Park in southwest Atlanta have led to early failure when the street-smart canines alluded traps set for them and instead lured an unsuspecting feral dog to trigger a trap. It is hard to blame the coyotes for setting up a den in the neighborhood. Apparently, neighbors have been tending an urban cornucopia of goats and chickens in their yards. Atlanta Animal Control should probably go to DefCon 2.
