Don't Focus on Appearances, Think Price and Potential

Okay, we admit this one in Stone Mountain is not much to look at. But it's a foreclosure and it's for sale for $57,000 (well, it looks like bidding starts may have some competition). Imagine getting 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths in 2500 square feet AND A POOL (that's covered and everything) for $57,000. There are many, many cars on the road in Atlanta that cost twice that much! Even if you have to go in and put serious money into the place to restore it to its former glory, it still seems like you'll come out ahead. If you pay close attention to the photos, you'll see some glimmers of class. Those appear to be some decent cabinets in the kitchen, and counter space is plentiful. The fireplace looks lovely. And while some of the appliances were ripped out, it doesn't appear the copper pipes have suffered the same fate. Someone is going to end with a very comfortable house here for a song, or some enterprising go-getter is going to secure some pretty decent cash flow on this as an investment property.
