A privately-owned Kennesaw disaster training company has purchased a site in Perry designed (but never used) to build missiles. Northrop Grumman originally developed the 2200 acre industrial complex, but bailed after the missile contract was cancelled (don't worry, the U.S. government probably paid for them twice anyway). Now the site will have the capacity to train up to 5,000 people at a time for disasters on a mock interstate and two city blocks of destruction, among other things. Also sounds like a potential shooting location for zombie-related entertainment. [Atlanta Business Chronicle]
