If You've Got A House to Sell, You May Want to Get on the Stick

Springtime is known the world over (well, the U.S. anyway) as the season to sell your house...especially in Atlanta. The weather is warming, foliage is in bloom and multi-colored balloons dance in the breeze atop realtors' Open House signs. But that conventional wisdom has been turned on its head by our data-crunching friends over at Redfin. Turns out getting your house on the market in the winter leaves you with less competition, and often leads to a quicker sale for a better price. Listing in winter doesn't really require any extra effort in Atlanta, either. Unless of course it's Snowpocalypse.
