Springtime is known the world over (well, the U.S. anyway) as the season to sell your house...especially in Atlanta. The weather is warming, foliage is in bloom and multi-colored balloons dance in the breeze atop realtors' Open House signs. But that conventional wisdom has been turned on its head by our data-crunching friends over at Redfin. Turns out getting your house on the market in the winter leaves you with less competition, and often leads to a quicker sale for a better price. Listing in winter doesn't really require any extra effort in Atlanta, either. Unless of course it's Snowpocalypse.
