Restauranteur Escalates His War with City, PARKAtlanta

Atlanta's original tapas master and hilariously defiant critic of City government Paul Luna has taken his clash over the new parking regime to court. Desperately seeking revenue to help make up for multi-million dollar budget shortfalls, last year the City of Atlanta stepped up parking enforcement and added hundreds of pay meters around town. Right about that time, Chef Luna came back to town to open Lunacy Black Market on Mitchell Street. Chef Luna is known to have problems with authority; it seems police authority delegated to private contractors like PARKAtlanta has a particular capacity to get stuck in his craw. It will be interesting to see how this affects Chef Luna's mayoral campaign.
