As it turns out, Georgians will vote on the referendum to instate an additional penny to state sales tax to fund Georgia HB 277- aka the regional transportation bill- in November 2012 along with everything else, including the Presidential election. The move was part of a big round of end-of-session sausage making in the Republican-controlled Georgia Capitol. [Atlanta Journal-Constitution]
