Know Your Downtown Real Estate History

New, 2 comments

Head on over to Atlanta Magazine's Peachtree Panorama blog for a great feature on Hurt Plaza. Named for Joel Hurt, one of Atlanta's early 20th century real estate kingpins (who showed tremendous taste and foresight in bringing us Inman Park and Druid Hills), the downtown building is a bit of a strange bird given its size and shape. But for a while there, it was the largest building in the South. And it remains an important building today, counting among its tenants various non-profit groups dedicated to the best interests of our fair city. [Peachtree Panorama / Atlanta Magazine]
