Opened in the mid-80's in a little old building on Peachtree next to the Shepard Spinal Center, Huey's had a special place in the heart of many Atlantans. While it was always a solid place for New Orleans cuisine, the beignets were the star. Sadly, Huey's closed. Surrounded as it is by the Shepard campus and a luxury condo highrise, another food tenant seemed likely. But today Skyline Views is reporting that Ernesto's Cuts, a barbershop where one may get coiffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week will move into the space. While we certainly acknowledge the we live in an increasingly 24 hour world, is there really demand for haircuts at 3:30am on a Wednesday?
