In more "there's not enough money" news, MARTA chief Beverly Scott is telling the Georgia legislature that they're at least $2.3 billion dollars short in funds needed to maintain Atlanta's light rail system over the next 10 years. Further complicating matters is MARTA's place among new light rail projects in the earmarking of potential new funds from the upcoming transportation referendum.
