Griffin Rail Line is Still Alive

In the hurly-burly of creating the target project list for T-SPLOST funds, light commuter rail to Griffin may be back on the inside. The fact that the Griffin rail line is the singular rail project south of I-20 appears to be helping its cause; moreover, it would be the first link in the Atlanta-to-Savannah line that many in the state dream of. At a cost of $350 million, getting the project done will require cuts elsewhere. But such is life in the scrum of Georgia's efforts to update its transportation infrastructure.
