Columns Drive Home On the River Has a Butter Face

We here at Curbed strive for variety (it is, after all, the spice of life). We'll leave it to you to decide whether featuring 2 houses in the 7-figures on the Chattahoochee River in as many weeks is honoring or betraying that principle. We were drawn to this listing on Marietta's fabled Columns Drive because of the aesthetically-challenged front facade (strikes us as an unholy mix of a funeral home and the office annex of an older suburban church). We were moved to feature it by the contrast in the appearance of its (ugly) face and (charming) rear. The interiors are a bit hit-or-miss; the grounds and river frontage, however, are irreplaceable. A 4 bed, 4 1/2 bath on Columns Drive for $1.4 million. Any takers?
