Nearly 147 years after General Sherman brought new meaning to the nickname "Hotlanta" and just three years after the meltdown that ended real estate as we knew it, there rises from the depths of the internets a new website that will bring everything you need to know about Atlanta into crisp focus.
Curbed Atlanta is the newest site in the Curbed Network, celebrating real estate in the ultimate real estate town, as well as neighborhoods, architecture, development gossip, and everything to do with the built environment of our fair city. If architects' renderings get you hot and real estate listings make you drool, you've come to the right place. Garden Hills resident Josh Lindenbaum (full disclosure: he's an Atlanta real estate professional and attorney) takes the helm as Curbed Atlanta's editor, and he'll get the conversation started, but it's up to you, dear reader, to keep us up to speed with what's happening in your 'hood. If you've got news, scoops, tips, rumors or rants, don't be shy about directing them to our tipline.
We'll also share the latest news and commentary about new developments, real estate prices and neighborhood gossip, covering downtown to Midtown, Buckhead to the east side neighborhoods and even the suburbs. For those familiar with some of the regular features of Curbed National/NY/SF/LA/Hamptons, you can expect a healthy dose of the Pricespotter and PriceChopper, as well as some brand-new features exclusive to Alana.
Please take note that our sister site, Eater Atlanta, has been up and running for a while now. Editor Jennifer Zyman (aka The Blissful Glutton) brings her savvy perspective to delivering all the restaurant, food and chef news you could ever want. Look for some collaborations between us in the near future.
In the meantime, thanks for tuning in, and please do drop us a line anytime.
