The Remaining Inventory of The Atlantic Residences Sold in Bulk to Florida Real Estate Group

A Curbed reader (thanks KW) tipped us off that ST Residential- owner of the former Corus Bank portfolio of condominium and townhome projects in Atlanta- received an unsoliticted offer to sell in-bulk the remaining inventory at The Atlantic Residences in Atlantic Station. Though ST Residential's Atlanta chief John Huckaby declined comment on the buyer, it is reportedly Crescent Heights, a Florida-based developer/owner with a national portfolio of residential, office and hotel projects. We speculate that they will convert these condominiums into rentals, as ST had begun to do. Novare Group was the original developer on the very high-end condominium project that towers over Atlantic Station, but lost the project amid the implosion of the condo market and condo-king Corus Bank's collapse.
