THANKSGIVING WIRE— These restaurants still have last-minute Thanksgiving reservations available. Additionally, here are a few other bars and eateries that will be open, as well as eight places that will deliver or offer takeout on Thursday.
PONCEY-HIGHLANDS— Jennifer Lawrence, the star of the Hunger Games, visited the Clermont Lounge while she was in Atlanta. Here, she tells Jay Leno about what went down at the iconic strip club (which she calls a "dive bar with senior citizen strippers").
BUCKHEAD— After 42 years in business, Dante's Down the Hatch will close by next spring. The restaurant will be torn down and apartments will go up in its place. Eater is desperate to find out what's going to happen to the alligators, so if you know, do tell.
BROOKWOOD— The early word on La Pietra Cucina's new incarnation, LPC, is out, and it's not all good. Since the post went up yesterday, though, menus have been added to the restaurant's Facebook page and its Twitter handle has changed, so not all hope is lost.
BUCKHEAD— Take a look around the kitchen of Chef Linton Hopkins and find out what the chef/owner of Holeman & Finch and Restaurant Eugene planning to cook for Thanksgiving.
