At least six developers are vying to transform 55 acres of (mostly) vacant parking lots around Turner Field into something of an Atlantic Station South, only with more sports-centric flair, the Atlanta Business Chronicle reports. Confirmed companies in the mix include North American Properties (responsible for Atlantic Station's redux) and the team behind Brooklyn's massive Atlantic Yards project, which includes the Barclays Center.
