Theatre Swap

Atlanta's oldest cinema, the 1939 Plaza Theatre, has found a buyer with a retooled vision, after a husband-wife team decided to step away from the storied showhouse and its dazzling marquee after six years. The buyer is a cinema business vet (and cinephile) who has flipped and sold Charleston theaters. So the Poncey-Highland treasure appears to be in good hands. [Creative Loafing]
