MIDTOWN— Midtown's Mi Cocina opens on Monday for lunch and dinner seven days a week. Here's a first look around the space at the corner of 11th and Peachtree streets.

GATEKEEPERS— Director of Marketing Michael Erickson is basically the ultimate gatekeeper. He keeps things running smoothly at all seven of the Fifth Group restaurants— that's Ecco, La Tavola, Lure, both South City Kitchen locations, the Original El Taco, and Alma Cocina. This week, he talked to Eater about the importance of Twitter and how he keeps customers happy and coming back.

EATER AWARDS— Voting for the third annual Eater Awards has been going on all week, and today readers are casting votes in the Stone Cold Stunner category, which honors the restaurant with the best overall design. Get in on the fun right here.

WALKING DEAD— Apparently the cast of the Walking Dead throw "death dinners" at secret locations every time a character dies on the show. The show is filmed in Atlanta, and Eater wants to know where the dinners are held.
