Holding signs and chanting "Fight back!", more than 100 Emory University students, faculty and staff staged an old-fashioned revolt Tuesday, protesting the school's decision to axe its educational studies division, physical education department, visual arts department and respected journalism program. Also being cut: about 42 faculty and staff members. One organizer vented to WSBTV: "We feel that the $4.5 million that they say they're going to save from these cuts is basically chump change compared with how much money they made this year." [WSBTV]
