Various Buckhead neighborhoods that are stakeholders in the area surrounding Bobby Jones Golf Course and Memorial Park are moving to give the course and the area in general a big facelift. They've formed a non-profit called the Bobby Jones Golf Course and Park Conservancy, and their aims are to renovate the golf course and club house, and find a way to make the area surrounding the course a recreational asset that can exploit synergies with surrounding parks, including Tanyard Creek (which, of course, links to the BeltLine). Nice to see Buckhead joining their Eastside brethren in the move to enhance Atlanta's public parks and greenways. [BuckheadView]
