One of the best things about the interface offered by Zillow is the ability to take a quick glance at the sales history of a house. Such a glance on this listing provides a bit of intrigue on this modest starter home on a great street in Lake Claire. It appears that it took the previous owners over a year and a half (and price cuts totaling over $82k) to sell this place last October for $297,500. The new owners promptly re-listed a month later for its current list price of $310,000. What gives? The place is rather small at 1,133 square feet, with one bathroom to go with 3 bedrooms. But with the porch and updated kitchen, it would make a nice little home for a couple. What's the owner's play here? If they bought to flip, we're afraid they're about to learn a painful lesson in real estate investing.
