Atlanta Retail is Lucky It's Nice Outside

Atlanta is the 6th best city in the United States for shopping, or at least that's what the editorial team at Lucky Magazine decided this week. The mag claims to have considered a number of statistical factors (i.e. the diversity of retail options, the rate of vacant retail space, and chatter about local shopping destinations on Yelp) in the formulation of the list, but the included quip about the appeal of Atlanta's shopping scene reveals much more atmospheric concerns: "It's sunny, warm and not intimidatingly large." -Sarah Beth McKay
