Space for a Big Brood (or House Party) in Decatur

Decatur is one of Atlanta's most desirable communities for families (and everyone else) for a multitude of reasons. Schools, parks, a walk-able downtown with fantastic restaurants, Your Dekalb Farmer's Market, to name just a few. So assuming you have a few kids (or just want a bunch of bedrooms), what's the price of entry for a comfy domicile in the mix? $750,000 for this 5 bed, 5 bath renovated house (circa 1928) on an acre in the Glenwood Estates. Though the decor may be a bit traditional for some, there are some marvelous spaces in the house that transcend- (we're particularly smitten with the bricked sun room). And while there is definitely some other updating that could be done, the kitchen has already been rendered in the dark wood / granite / stainless steel style that people seem to like. Whether or not this is the big spring selling season realtors have been waiting for since 2009, this one will have a new owner soon.
