Restructuring at Creative Loafing Means Loss of Besha Rodell, St. Patrick's Day Guide, New Spots Coming to Midtown and Decatur, More

THE MEDIA WORLD—The Atlanta food world was rocked when they learned Besha Rodell, longtime food critic and dining editor of Creative Loafing was let go on Wednesday. Creative Loafing also had to say goodbye to Scott Henry, Curt Holman and Chanté LaGon. EIC of Creative Loafing Eric Celeste has asked her to continue reviewing restaurants on a freelance basis, however it is unclear whether or not she will say yes.

CITYWIDE—Two new spots are opening up tonight. Terminal West a music venue in King Plow by the train tracks and Geisha Lounge, a dark-reddish new lounge which lives above RA Sushi. Be sure to make them feel welcome.

MIDTOWN & DECATURNew restaurants, coming soon. Gilbert's Mediterranean Cafe & Bar is expanding into the space formerly occupied by Outwrite Bookstore, Revolution Donuts and Coffee is coming to West College Avenue in May and Lure, a seafood spot, is coming to Crescent Avenue.
