Buckhead House With Plush Yard Pays Homage to the Decades

Just off the Mt. Paran Road exit of I-75, a lovely neighborhood straddles the interstate's corridor and the traffic of U.S. 41, as well as the gateway to the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area (including Atlanta's best water park for dogs). This rather interesting 5 bedroom, 5 bath house stands right at the front of the Whitewater Creek neighborhood, and while it boasts and acre-plus lot with its own tennis court, its proximity to Mt. Paran Road will no doubt give some potential buyers pause. And aesthetes among that cadre may take more serious issue with the home's interiors. While there's something here for fans of each of the individual decades the 70's/80's/90's, the overall contemporary look seems a bit at odds with the traditional house built in 1970. The 3,000 square feet strikes us as a bit on the small side for a 5/5, but the price is unusually approachable for the 30327 zip code. And it's in one of the best school districts in the city (Warren T. Jackson Elementary). $650,000. A fair price for potential?
