We Have Seen The BeltLine, And It Looks Good

New, 11 comments

It has been a heady few months for those that have followed the The BeltLine with particular interest (and, we're guessing, for the folks actually making it happen). While the past several years have seen progress and the debut of some BeltLine-related parks and infrastructure, the actual path that will constitute Atlanta's 'emerald necklace' is beginning to take shape, as seen above. Also included in the gallery are some graphics that will be useful to those not as well acquainted with the scope and geography of the project (all courtesy of the Atlanta BeltLine Facebook page). As with most things, progress does not come without a price. This weekend and next, a section of Ponce de Leon Avenue will be closed for work on the bridge that will carry the BeltLine over the road. If you live in the area or are planning to be there this weekend, take heed.
