The Bible of Walking in Atlanta

Now that spring (or summer, depending on your perspective) has sprung, it's arguably the finest season for strolling in Atlanta. But what to do when you've tired of prowling your own neighborhood? In the case of Ren and Helen Davis, you start looking for good walks in other neighborhoods, and then compile them in a book. Years passed, more walks were taken and soon the Davises had successive (and more expansive) editions of the book and publication in numerous newspapers and magazines. Joe Earle's got the whole story, and it's a good one. [Reporter Newspapers]
