While potential buyers prowling desirable in-town neighborhoods may not always find this to be the "buyer's market" that it's touted to be, there are some deals out there. And this would appear to be one of them. This 1912 house in Inman Park (quibblers may argue it's Poncey-Highlands, but whatever) boasts fireplaces in nearly every room, beautifully-maintained wood details, all of the necessary updates and 2,615 square feet. It also has a a killer front porch and a nice-looking patch of grass. The current owners paid $647,000 back in 2008; they're now ready to part with it for substantially less, listing at $599,900. Given the year-plus it's sat on the market, there's probably some issues with this house (like all the rest). But the fundamentals seem strong...and the price is headed in the right direction. Someone will bite, yes?
