New Life Begins for the Old AJC HQ

The architecture/design competition the City is launching for the entry way and lobby of the former Atlanta Journal Constitution building is something we'd generally write about. But our friends at Creative Loafing did such an excellent job with it, we figured we'd just point you to Debbie Michaud's piece. As you may recall, Cox moved the dried-husk-of-a-formerly-big-city-grade-paper out to its campus in Dunwoody a couple of years ago and gifted the building on Marietta Street to the City. This competition and the spirit behind it bode well for an interesting end use of this gift said to be worth $50 million. [Creative Loafing]
