Behold This Peachtree Hills 3/3 and Its Deckzebo

Though its desirable Buckhead location in the residential forests between Peachtree and Piedmont and great neighborhood feel keeps Peachtree Hills popular with young professionals and families, it has not been immune to the general cratering of values in Atlanta real estate. Today our friends at Zillow deliver us an excellent study in opportunity there with this 3 bed, 3 bath home of just over 2000 square feet on a double lot on Hurst Drive. Though the 1944 Colonial has been renovated, the interiors do not live up to the bluster of the broker babble (big surprise). For instance, though the owners are to be commended on the opening of what looks to be a former galley kitchen, in terms of functionality, having a staircase terminate there instead is not much of an improvement. But the house does shine in other areas, like the enormous, screened deckzebo off the back. The place last sold for $389,200 in 1999, and the owners have clearly put money into the house. But as previously mentioned, the Buckhead sub-market remains savage. We're not sure how close they'll get to their $550,000 list price.
