The Highlights of the Atlanta Skyline's Northern Tip Are Yours (If You've Got A Few Hundred Million)

Perhaps the metro Atlanta area's most iconic pair of office buildings (and homages to chess) is hitting the market. In another encouraging sign that investment-grade commercial real estate in Atlanta is regaining its appeal, it's speculated that owner TIAA-CREF could get $350-400 million for the two towers at the heart of Concourse at Landmark Center. Developed, designed and built in the 1980's and early '90's by the power trio of The Landmarks Group, TVS and Hardin Construction, the "King and Queen" buildings anchor one of suburban Atlanta's early master-planned, mixed-use office developments, and were no doubt one of the cornerstones that allowed the Perimeter area to become the dynamo that it has been for the past 20+ years.
