The outlook for retail has brightened considerably following big March numbers attributed to a mild winter across much of the U.S. (or, in the case of Atlanta, a complete lack of a winter at all). Perhaps emboldened by this data and continuing signs of an general economic recovery, Simon Mall's Town Center at Cobb just announced a slew of new tenants, including Francesca's Collections, Teavana, Vans, Best Buy Mobile, and Tempur-Pedic by Mattress Firm. In addition, Forever 21 will nearly quadruple its space in the mall, expanding from its current 6,00 to some 23,000 square feet. One less reason to make the trip from Kennesaw to Lenox Square. Or one more reason to take a field trip out to the 'Burbs.
