We're a little late to the party on discussion of progress made in planning the expansion of MARTA to include service from Lindbergh to Emory. But our friends over at Decatur Metro have been on it and they've got some good infographics, links and a lively Comments discussion on the topic. Of course T-SPLOST must pass before any of this becomes reality, but this project is perhaps the best illustration of the importance of passing the bill. The traffic in the Emory area is just godawful. With two of Atlanta's most important employers / job creation petri dishes located in the area (Emory and the CDC), solving this chronically un-addressed problem is imperative. [Decatur Metro]
