GA 400 Traffic is Not Fixed

Though his heart was in the right place, Governor Deal is not proving to be much of a transportation engineer. Day 1 of his plan to solve the traffic problems on GA 400 by opening a shoulder lane to traffic did not go so well, in fact, several drivers polled thought it made it worse. Though it's far too early to declare the program a failure, those who believe that additional lanes only invite more cars and thereby don't have a positive effect on traffic are probably feeling pretty self-satisfied right about now.
