Inquiring readers of internet media like Curbed probably know that the DNA of this humble site can be directly linked to a little site called Gawker. Covering all things Atlanta, Georgia as we do, we were therefore excited to see the Peach State featured this morning (which is to say mocked). The mocking is probably warranted. Seems Georgia is ready to begin polling kindergartners on the efficacy of their teachers, with the teachers' job security and compensation at stake. Gawker certainly doesn't need our assistance in exploring the absurdities at play here- including a disturbing new trend in parenting as it relates to sending kids to kindergarten- get thee there post-haste.
