The non-stop list machine Forbes has its 'Best States for Business & Careers' rankings out, and Georgia just missed the Top 10, coming in at #11. The overall ranking was derived from some kind of average of state ranks in categories like labor supply, regulatory environment and quality of life. Georgia ranked #3, #4 and #7, respectively, in regulatory environment, labor supply and growth prospects. Another interesting number that's been around since the most recent census data came out but just hit us today: Georgia's population is almost 10 million. For those keeping score, that's #9.
