Debunking the 'Boomerang Generation'

Fear not, parents: rumors of your child's impending return to your empty nest are greatly exaggerated. At least that's what a former research psychologist discovered when she decided to dig into the recent, freely-thrown-around statistic that 85% of college graduates are returning to live with their parents. The investigation is a hell of a ride, involving a company called Twentysomething, its staff partially comprised of fake people and a mysterious owner (to put it charitably). The lousy job market and crushing weight of student debt may be sending some kids home, but the freedom realized in college would seem to die hard. [Psychology Today]
