Local residents and regular users of Woodland Brook Drive in Vinings should already know, but everyone else beware: the street is about to close for the summer for road work. The lovely road beneath the canopy near the Chattahoochee is due for new drainage pipes below its surface, and the whole thing will be shut down on Friday for two months now that school is out. Lighter summer traffic on Paces Ferry for The Lovett School will help with the detour routes detailed in the piece from the Patch, but you can probably expect worse-than-usual congestion on Paces Mill near the Vinings Jubilee.
