A Fresh PR Nightmare for the Peach State

One need only have read the first headline encountered on the matter to see where this was going (court), but not before an endless stop in media purgatory. We refer, of course, to the news that a north Georgia division of the Ku Klux Klan (where have those guys been?) applied to adopt a stretch of highway, but their application was denied. National medias of every stripe gleefully picked up the story, which brings good and bad for the state's image. The good: there's been a pause in headlines about our cratered housing market. The bad: Georgia, still a bunch of racists! [CNN / Gawker]
